Conversation and lunch or brunch with Alice Kleeman!
 
M-A's College Advisor invites your 9th grader plus two or three friends for a casual breakfast or lunch conversation at Cafe Borrone. Ms. Kleeman will share some great tips about how they might get the most out of high school and they will learn more about how to have an authentically rich and enjoyable M-A experience. This is not a college-counseling session (although students who have the highest-quality high school experiences do magically become the strongest college applicants). 
 
This session is for students, not parents.  It will take place on a mutually agreeable date.

M-A Baseball Fantasy Day Camp

ATTENTION BASEBALL FANS Do you think it would be fun to get a bunch of friends together for an afternoon to play baseball with the M-A team?  If so, bid on this event! Great for adult softball players (co-ed or otherwise), or for a youth team (at least 11 years old). You and up to 8 of your friends will practice with the M-A baseball team for a day at beautiful Bettencourt Field, culminating in a short simulated game.

Activities include:
Warmup with the team
Batting practice with instruction in the cage against ""Iron Mike"", and on the field against live pitching
Infield/Outfield practice with instruction
Coached bullpen session for pitchers
Special drills for catchers (they're FUN!)

Optional Activities:
Get yelled at by a real M-A coach!
Run disciplinary 440s!
Ice your arm!
Run a few miles!

The Riekes Center Athletic Program

One of the local favorites, The Riekes Center, hosts the internationally acclaimed athletic program Frappier AccelerationTM.  This unique conditioning program is designed to improve speed, agility, power, sprint mechanics, anaerobic conditioning, and flexibility.  Frappier AccelerationTM is incorporated into conditioning programs for all sports including football, basketball, softball, lacrosse, tennis, volleyball, baseball, cross country, soccer, water polo, and more.  This program is six weeks and includes a pre-test, post-test, 12 sprint sessions, and six plyometric sessions.

SPARTA Performance Science One-Month Training Package

SPARTA Performance Science is a new 8,500 square foot training facility for elite athletes in Menlo Park. Looking to brush up on your math skills before the Math SAT Subject Test in June? Mr. Gregg Whitnah will offer four one-hour appointments to help you prepare for the June 5, 2010 math subject test.  Mr. Whitnah is.....
