There is no need to create a PayPal account for M-A on eBay.
PayPal is a quick way to pay for your items but the Foundation
is happy to take a check for payment.

Bidding
Bidding on eBay is easy too. Just remember that bids are set in increments depending on the current value of the item. For example, if the bid price is currently $10.00 and you bid $25.00, eBay places your bid at $10.00 until someone out-bids you, then eBay increases your bid automatically. Best to put in the highest price you're willing to pay and leave the bidding to eBay. You will receive an e-mail if you are out-bid.
Dutch Auction
When you see a listing with two or more identical items (such as a sign-up for one of our parties) the items can either be listed as a "buy-in-now" or a "Dutch Auction" item. When you bid on a Dutch Auction item, bid at or above that minimum for the quantity you want to purchase. At the close of the auction, the highest bidders purchase the items at the lowest successful bid. So, as an example, if you want 4 seats at the Greek Feast and only 3 remain, you can place a higher bid to win 4 spots. Those with the lower bids may lose their spots but only if the item is oversold. So, keep checking your standings on eBay by clicking the 'Bidders List' link.

Watch the Closing Times and Check Back Often
This year items will close and bidding will cease at different times. Check back often on items you have bid on, and look for new items during the week.
Victory!
When you win an item you will receive an email message with instructions for payment. Please be sure your name, address and email are accurate on your receipt. Once the Foundation has received your payment (PayPal or check), one of our happy volunteers will contact you regarding delivery of your item.
Remember: 100% of the price paid goes directly to M-A. You win and our students win too!
